It is not exam-based; the focus is on learning how the tool can best meet your needs.

This course follows on from HP's Unified Functional Tester - UFT 12, Keyword View

You must already have experience in test automation using UFT or QTP.

It is not exam-based; the focus is on learning how the tool can best meet your needs.

This course covers all aspects of using HP's ALM 12 to manage testing projects.

It is not exam-based - the focus is on learning how to use it competently in your projects.

  • How to plan software releases and testing cycles
  • Traceability of tests back to requirements
  • Importing of business models into ALM
  • Test execution using Sprinter

This course covers all aspects of using HP's LoadRunner to carry out performace testing

It is not exam-based - the focus is on learning how to use it competently in your projects.

  • Gather resources and information required for performance testing
  • Create and parameterize virtual users 
  • Overcome problems of dynamic data
  • Use TruClient to script for AJAX and Web 2.0
  • Analyse and report results
  • Lab day - plan and execute a performance test project from start to finish.

Course duration - 3 days

This course shows how to use Selenium WebDriver to create automated web tests.

It is not exam-based - the focus is on learning how to use it competently in your projects.

Course and material fees - £995 + VAT per delegate with a minimum of 6 delegates at your premises (Instructor travel/accommodation to be recharged at cost).

Key points:

  • Install Webdriver, JUnit, Eclipse and associated tools
  • Capture and replay tests
  • Use keywords to create tests
  • Create a library of pages using Page Objects
  • Extend the model - data-driven; asynchronous AJAX; cross-browser.

Note that this course requires knowledge of how web pages are developed. Some programming knowledge would be advantageous.
